Hand Hewn 18th Century Gunstock Frame

This well-preserved timber frame is a fine specimen of a hand hewn gunstock frame. A 5-sided ridge beam, it was built in the 1780s. It boasts White Oak posts, Cedar rafters and soft wood tie and top plate timbers.
