This barn is a rare and valuable find hailing from North Hero. The gunstock frame is made with Oak and American Chestnut. This barn has a 36-foot ridge beam, made from American Chestnut. It also boasts hand hewn, Chestnut diagonal braces. This frame has a steep roof pitch (12/12).
